Recruitment
WAVES specifically involves the multidisciplinary applications of the physics of wave propagation and wave-based imaging in fields as diverse as bio-medical imaging, seismology, acoustics, and resource exploration.
The WAVES network has recruited 15 Ph.D. positions starting in 2015.
WAVES Recruitment Procedure
The project’s consortium adheres to the Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for Recruitment and ensured a transparent, open, equal and internationally accepted recruitment process, with special care for gender issues. WAVES encouraged female applications and six of the 15 recruited researchers are women.
